This workshop is designed for individuals or small groups of people affected by coronary artery disease and/or hypertension and teaches how to improve one’s health through diet, exercise, and stress management.

  • Learn the pathophysiology and treatment of high blood pressure and coronary artery disease.
  • The effects of alcohol and/or smoking.
  • Dietary recommendations for high blood pressure and coronary artery disease.
  • How to keep track of sodium, cholesterol, triglycerides, and calories.
  • Exercise for reconditioning and aerobic capacity.
  • Incorporating stress management training into your life.
